Divine Summers. Devastating Loss. Lush New Beginnings. The 2026 Update.
After finishing my Astrology classes in London, I spent a bliss-filled Summer in Paris, bathing in pure Venusian energy: divine food, Marseille mermaid moments, sacred luxuries, and the wild joy of a city that felt like a beautiful intersection of my times in Cambodia and NYC.
My flat became a hotel as every person I loved visited — which declared Paris as a Summer for the GIRLS. I spent my mornings dancing through the electric streets with a pain au chocolat in hand, then practised yoga in hidden garden studios, and ended each day with dinner on my balcony splitting a steak with my cat Macha while we watched the Eiffel Tower sparkle outside my balcony windows. Paris was 13/13 stars with no notes.
Then, everything changed.
When Macha and I returned to Portugal, she passed away unexpectedly within moments of our arrival. Losing her was incredibly devastating as Macha was my family, travelling kitty companion, and whole world.
Life has been much quieter without her, as if you were lucky enough to meet her, you would know that she was the LOUDEST cat on the planet, and she still sends me signs that she’s here, and I think she always will be. Just in subtler vibrations.
Grief is a portal. a holy unravelling, a place of veils thinning, body shaking cries, and an experience we all go through and yet are taught to not acknowledge or to instantly move forward from without taking the time to fully feel, grieve, love with our hearts burst open, and create something divine from it – when we take the time to listen.
What could possibly come from divine summers and deep autumn loss?
Grief has this incredible gift to show us exactly what we don’t want and everything we do.
Which is why I burned my business down and built what I actually believe in.
